Job Description:
This unique opportunity will help design the building blocks of success of the legal team over the short to medium term – our corporate architecture, regulatory strategy, risk management and growth.
Responsibilities will include:
Commercial - Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements.
TMT - willingness to take a lead role in some of the TMT legal matters
Regulatory/Compliance - playing an active role in advising and managing regulatory and complaince related matters.
Formulating risk management strategies - Liaising with associated local authorities and regulatory bodies on important regulatory matters, including keeping updated and managing the companies risk in relation to any changes in legislation.
Corporate - assisting and potentially taking lead on some corporate transactional matters as and when required.
HR/Employment - Advising HR on employment law and HR related legal matters.
Education/Experience Required:
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
Candidates should have a common law qualification in AUS/UK/USA/NZ
Minimum 6 years experience, with a strong focus on commercial law including TMT
Excellent English Language Skills - Both written and verbal
UAE experience - Essential
